Online mind-mapping brings the concept of mind-mapping to the web, using its facilities for real-time collaboration to allow truly global brainstorming sessions. Users can create, manage and share a Mind-Map online and access them anytime, from anywhere. In brainstorming mode, fellow participants from around the world (or just in different rooms) can simultaneously work on the same mind map and see each other's changes as they happen.
Must have features:
- webbased: The tool should be completely webbased, meaning that there is no need to install the program or parts of it on your local computer. This makes accessing from different places, with different computers easier for the users.
- colors: different colors for the branches and nodes
- sharing: The possibility to give access to the created Map to colleagues, partners etc.
- joint-editing: The possibility that several people can work on the Mind-Map together, at the same time.
- include links: As the Mind-Map only includes buzzwords it is very helpfull to be able to include links to further information on homepages etc. in the web.
- include attachments: see above
Nice to have features:
- Advertising free: no advertising
- publish: Possibility to publish Mind-Map on blog or website
- Chat: integrated live-chat
- mobile access: Possibility to access online Mind-Map from mobile devices (Smartphone, Tablet-PC, ...)
- offline capability: Possibility to work on the Mind-Map without connection to internet. The map is synchronized once internet is available again.
- change history: All changes are tracked and earlier maps can be restored.
- notes: Notes can be attached to the buzzwords.
