Groupwork


In Didactics Groupwork means participants are working together in groups (often 3 to 6) for a limited period. Within their group they collaborate to solve problems or tasks. 

Advantages:

  • Social interaction (in best case with partners from different cultures)
  • Interculturality can be experienced
  • Partners can motivate and help each other

Disadvantages:

  • often requires more time than Individual Working or Frontal Teaching
  • requires discipline from students
