Individual

Individual Work generally means doing work on ones own. In didactics individual work means that the teacher is giving the students tasks which they then have to work on individually. Very important for the individual work is motivation of the student.

Advantages are:

• Students con work on their task in their own rythm and learning-style.
• Tasks can be adapted individually to the knowledge and skills of the participant

Disadvantages are:

• Individual work can lead to isolation of students.
• It requires no social-interaction.
