To best reach educational-objectives, any learning-unit should be based and structured according to the following didactical-functions:

• knowledge-construction
• consolidation
• assessment
• reflection-of-learning-process

Of course these functions are sometimes called diffently, but the concepts behind them are nearly the same everywhere.
